Seed Cycling and Hormonal Health

I swear by seed cycling. I talk about it a lot but it's still one of the number one things women ask me about.⁠

It's a natural and easy way to help your hormones. Bring your cycle back, regulate it, support fertility, manage menopause symptoms, manage PMS symptoms and more. ⁠

Let’s break this down and make it easy:

The Seeds

Flax - helps increase or decrease estrogen levels as needed.

Pumpkin - the zinc helps support progesterone production in preparation for the next phase.

Sesame - inhibits estrogen levels from rising too much. 

Sunflower - helps boost progesterone levels.

 

When to Take Them

Flax & Pumpkin (1 tbsp each)

Days 1-14

Menstruation to Ovulation

New Moon to Full Moon

 

Sesame & Sunflower (1 tbsp each)

Days 15 - 28 (or end of cycle) 

Ovulation to Menstruation

Full Moon to New Moon

 

Tips

  • Be sure seeds are ground. I like to put them in my daily smoothie. 

  • Be consistent, do it daily. Here and there isn’t going to work. 

  • Allow 3-4 months before seeing changes. Our cycle runs on a 3 month cycle. Your cycle this month is reflective of your life 3 months ago. Be patient. 

  • Remember if you don’t have a (regular cycle), follow the moon.
